Sheila, a young fox yokai demoness chased a few kids around. Though it might have been weird to see a demoness in her full yokai form playing with human and half demon children, anyone who knew her in the eastern lands knew she was a sweetheart.
A little girl climbed up on her back and covered her eyes. Being the kind playful demon she was she pretendign that her senses were sharp and fell over. The kids jumped on her and che chuckled nuzzling against each of the kids she was playing with.
She seemed she would be a wonderful mother, sine the children seemed to adore her. Some villagers didn't like their children playing with Sheila at first, but learned she wouldn't harm them for anything.

Rin was collecting herbs and roots by the meadow when she heard laughing. She stuck her head out a bit too see. She saw children playing...with a Youkai. "...Too bad Lord Sesshoumaru isn't that open..."
Sesshoumaru sat on the hill nearby watching Rin. Due to his keen senses, Sesshoumaru heard every last word. "...I heard that...Rin." But, instead of giving Rin a cold stare like he did to any other person that talked about him in that fashion, Sesshoumaru kept his attention on the Youkai. "...How foolish...these connections won't do her any good..." Then he looked at Rin. "...Just like me..."

Sheila's ears perked up as she turned her head in the direction of Sesshoumaru and Rin. She snorted when she saw Sesshoumaru, which made the kids on her laugh and play with her ears. She seemed very tolerate of the youngsters. She smiled a sweet smile towards Rin. She got up gently and set each other kids down on the ground gently. Her tail swished behind her, as she took another glance at them. Until a kid jumped onto her tail that is. She gently raised her tail and slipped the boy on her back.

Rin got tired after picking so many herbs and roots. She left the basket down the hill, and climbed up the hill to lay down beside Sesshoumaru.
Sesshoumaru continued to ignore Rin. He kept his focus on the Youkai with the children. *That demoness...is a kitsune! Is she tricking the children to kill them? What is she doing?*

Sheila sat down and smiled as one of the children asked her," Why are you so nice, Lady Sheila?"
Sheila chuckled and smiled sweetly," Well, I was raised by humans. You see, my parents abandoned me, which it doesn't hurt so much anymore. figured that demons don't have to be cold-hearted and mean to be happy." She ruffled the little boy's hair with her aw carefully," I'm happy, already. Afterall have you guys.. Alrighty storytime's over.. I don't want to keep your parents waiting." The children sighed, but smiled and scampered off. She watched them go, like a mother fox would look after her young. She chuckled," Such nice kids they are." Her attention turned towards Sesshoumaru again. She raised an eyebrow at him and sat down where she stood.

Sesshoumaru kept glaring at the Kitsune with contempt. *Why does she mingle with humans? Children even!*
"My lord...do you know that demoness?" Asked Rin. She felt uncomfortable being caught between a crossfire of glares.

Sheila shook her head and stood up. She felt tugging on her fur near her front paw and looked down," Lady Sheila?" The voice of a very young girl said. Sheila looked down and the girl placed a bracelet of flowers by her feet and back into the village, running into one of the huts smiling to herself. Sheila chuckled and slipped it on and shook her head.
